Sandwich

Depending on the filling, sandwiches may be appetisers, major courses, or even desserts.
Subs are a kind of layered bread or other starch-based food that may have simple or elaborate contents and garnishes.

White, wheat, rye, sourdough bread, meats and fish such as ham, turkey, roast beef, and chicken may all be used to make a sandwich, as can a variety of other types of bread, including bagels and pita.

Spreads such as mayonnaise, mustard, hummus, or pesto, and sauces such as BBQ, ranch, or spicy sauce are some examples of additional sandwich fillings.
Some common vegetarian sandwich fixings include lettuce, spinach, cucumber, tomato, avocado, and cheeses like cheddar, Swiss, and mozzarella.

Sandwiches may be served cold, hot, toasted, or grilled, and their flavour and texture can be enhanced by adding toppings like pickles, olives, peppers, onions, or bacon, among many others.

A sandwich is a beautiful and convenient way to sample several tastes and textures in one mouthful.
Sandwiches may be made in unlimited ways, from the most basic peanut butter and jelly to the most decadent lobster roll.
